Get ready to take the next step in your career.

An elementary teaching certificate can take you far in your career. But what if you want to be able to do more? We’re here to help.

If you enjoy teaching math, our secondary mathematics level change program can prepare you to get the endorsement you’ll need to be able to teach math in grades 6-12. In this program, you’ll have the chance to learn from experienced educators who fully understand what skills and teaching methods work well in the classroom. Through a combination of classroom learning and hands-on experience, you’ll be able to take the things you’ve learned in class and apply them in real-world situations.

Over the course of the program, you’ll complete our secondary mathematics major, as well as part of the professional education core that focuses on working with secondary students. By the time you’ve finished the program, you’ll be ready to take the test required to apply for the appropriate endorsement. When you have this extra endorsement in addition to your elementary teaching certificate, you’ll be able to take advantage of a wider variety of career opportunities.

The curriculum at Baker absolutely helped me. I had great instructors, instructors who were educators. Just for teachers to connect with students, it was important to me for those instructors to connect with me.
