Start your career in engineering sooner.

Mechanical technicians work as part of multidisciplinary teams to bring designs to life. Applying their understanding of math and science, they use computer-aided design (CAD) software to transform designs into working models of machinery and equipment for development and testing. Graduates of the program can continue their education with a bachelor degree in engineering — for example, Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

This program provides the foundation courses in science and mathematics leading graduates to a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, which can be completed in three additional years.
