Computer networks are critical to almost every business and organization, and server administrators are essential for their day-to-day operation. In this key role, administrators must have strong technical skills and be able to think critically, solve complex problems, and communicate effectively with others.

Our Bachelor of Science in information technology and security program with a concentration in server administration is designed to provide the technology skills an administrator needs to manage today’s server-driven information infrastructure. You’ll gain skills in designing, installing, managing, and upgrading computer systems and network infrastructures. You will have the opportunity to learn and practice skills in the creation and administration of systems and networks composed of Microsoft® products, Linux operating systems, Cisco® products, database management systems, web servers, and related hardware and software components commonly used throughout most industries.

After graduation, you’ll have the knowledge and skills to launch a successful career in server administration.
