Baker College is happy to be a part of the Global Bridge Program -- a collaboration between Baker College and Bond Education Group -- for students from Bond Education Group.
The Baker College Global Bridge Program gives qualified international students the chance to begin their collegiate coursework in the United States. Baker College offers these students:
Full admission
Room and board at a residence hall on campus
Three to nine hours of ESL classroom time a week
Cultural immersion trips and programs every weekend
Bridge Program Coursework
Students with a TOEFL (or equivalent) score of 500 or above qualify for:
Three hours of ESL per week
Four regular courses for the first term
Students with a TOEFL (or equivalent) score of 450-499 are offered conditional admission. They qualify for:
Nine hours of ESL per week
Two regular courses for the first term
Application Process
If you are a Bond Education Group Student who is interested in the Baker College program, your first step is to speak with a representative from Bond.
Bond and Global Bridge will assist you in preparing and submitting the required application materials to the Baker College Office of Admissions. These include:
Bond will assist you in preparing for the English proficiency exams, such as TOEFL.
Bond will recommend you to Global Bridge.
Bond Education Group and Global Bridge will arrange informational sessions for you to learn more about Baker College and academic life in America.
