The DEI West Michigan Chapter invites you to explore various factors that can contribute to the rise of the obesity epidemic in a panel discussion entitled ‘Weight Bias and the Phenomenon of Fatphobia’ as part of its annual “Misunderstood” series. 

The panel will consist of experts from the medical, nutrition, and sociological fields who will look at the idea of health with nuance, civility, and understanding.
