If you are facing extraordinary expenses, or are unable to afford your education as a result of the Coronavirus National Emergency, please complete our Federal Emergency Relief Funds Application. Although funds are very limited (and may be exhausted), completing the application will allow us to determine if you qualify. Students will be awarded if funds are available or if they become available in the future. These grant funds are allowed to assist with expenses such as: institutional charges (tuition, housing, books, fees), technology expenses, childcare, healthcare (including mental health), household and living expenses.
Baker College is responsible for administering federal emergency funds as defined by the Consolidated Appropriations Act. Funds are available for distance education and traditionally on-campus students. If you have not completed the 2020/21 FAFSA, please do so at fafsa.gov. The application is free and could provide additional financial help.
In addition to this funding, if your family has experienced a significant decrease of income or if you’ve experienced an increase in medical expenses, a Financial Aid Re-evaluation may provide additional financial aid assistance.
