Baker’s Master of Science in Educational Effectiveness program degree will help you develop as a leader in improving student learning, through a curriculum designed with the guidance of experts in the field, continuously updated, and tailored to the needs of busy adults.
To prepare you for today’s educational environment, our curriculum emphasizes the use of technology as a tool for managing information and improving efficiency, and teaches you how to use data-driven models to integrate curriculum, instruction, and assessment. You learn how to locate research and best practice information, interpret and use data for decision-making, and apply continuous improvement processes to the classroom and all aspects of administration.
Our multidisciplinary program gives you a broad and in-depth understanding of all aspects of education — management, organizational development, budgeting, ethics, diversity, and faculty/staff evaluations.
Our curriculum offers two different concentrations within the program, with each concentration sharing a strong core course foundation. You choose whether you are interested in applying your learning to K-12 education or to higher education. As a graduate, you’ll be equipped to apply your knowledge in a variety of leadership positions.
