Clinton Township Campus Builds New Facility to House New Auto Body Programs

Baker College of Clinton Township recently broke ground for a new facility to house its new auto body technician certificate and associate degree programs. Officials at Baker College of "Flint":/campus/flint/ have announced Lorie Goodale as the recipient of the 2009 Ed Kurtz Leadership Scholarship award. Goodale received a $2,500 scholarship that is awarded to a Baker student who demonstrates academic achievement and either a commitment to community service or a successful balance of work, family and school obligations. Muskegon Students Earn Global Top 50 Ranking in Business Competition

Baker College of Muskegon students earned a Global Top 50 ranking for their company's Business Strategy Game (BSG) online performance. BSG is an online business simulation where teams of higher education students from around the world co-manage an athletic footwear company and compete in various international markets, including North America, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Europe-Africa. Competing through wholesale, Internet and private-label marketing channels, the students made approximately 150 different business decisions each week throughout the competition. More»
Clinton Township Students Honored by Michigan Teaching Association

A Baker College of Clinton Township teacher preparation student was a finalist in the 24th annual Michigan Student Teacher of the Year Competition. Two other students from Baker’s Clinton Township campus received honorable mentions. The event is sponsored by the Michigan Association of Teacher Educators (MATE). Auburn Hills Dental Programs Granted Accreditation

The Commission on Dental Accreditation has granted accreditation to the dental assisting certificate and associate degree, and the dental hygiene associate degree programs at Baker College of Auburn Hills. The Commission is a specialized accrediting body that operates under the auspices of the American Dental Association and is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. More»
Baker College Online Reports 25.64 Percent Spring Quarter Enrollment Increase

Baker College Online officials today announced a 25.64 percent increase in 2009 spring quarter online enrollment compared to the same period in 2008. A total of 4,684 undergraduate students attended online classes exclusively during spring quarter 2009, with new student enrollment up 2.7 percent over last year. More»

Auburn Hills Dental Hygiene Graduates Achieve 100 Percent Pass Rate on National Exam
