Program Outcomes

Mission of College of Business

The mission of the College of Business is to provide inclusive, innovative, and transformative educational experiences, enabling students to become positive contributors to business and society.

College of Business Broad-Based Student Learning Goals

By the end of the program, students will:

  1. Students will acquire the knowledge and skills appropriate to their program of study. 
  2. Students will acquire effective professional skills.
  3. Students will appreciate the diversity in environments and understand the broader responsibilities of business.

Intended Student Learning Outcomes of Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Program

By the end of the program, students will:

  1. Collaborate with others to complete discipline-specific scholarship.
  2. Evaluate scholarly research, current and emerging theory and practice in a global business context.
  3. Apply theory and practice when addressing industry challenges.
  4. Synthesize relevant literature and theory for application in scholarly writing and business practices. 
  5. Develop research problem and applicable research questions
  6. Execute rigorous research design.
  7. Analyze data utilizing decision support tools and technology.
  8. Effectively communicate research to various audiences in professional settings.
  9. Apply professional ethics in all stages of research and analysis.
