On March 21-22, The Shiawassee Regional Education Service District (RESD) HOSA chapter competed in the Michigan State Leadership Conference in Grand Rapids. This conference gathers over 3,300 HOSA members from across the state.
During the conference, students competed in several events in the health field. All students are enrolled in the Shiawassee RESD’s Health Science Academy program in partnership with Baker College of Owosso and Memorial Healthcare. Those placing in the Top 3 of their event may represent Michigan at HOSA's International Leadership Conference.
HOSA is a national career and technical education student organization that promotes career opportunities in the health care industry and enhances the delivery of quality health care to all people.
