Dr. Levente von Heydrich Receives 2020 Best of Lansing Award
For the second year in a row, Baker College Adjunct Professor, Dr. Levente von Heydrich, has been selected for the 2020 Best of Lansing Award in the Psychotherapist category by the Lansing Award Program.
Each year, the Lansing Award Program identifies companies they believe have achieved exceptional success in their local community and business categories. These are local companies that enhance small businesses’ positive image through service to their customers and the community.
Dr. Heydrich has been providing doctoral-level psychotherapy services as the sole proprietor of Expert Therapy Services in Lansing, MI., for over ten years. During this time, he has also been working as an adjunct professor at Baker College, teaching clinical human services classes and clinical psychology classes such as DSM 5 Diagnosis, Clinical Psychology and Psychopharmacology.
Various information sources were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category of the Lansing Award Program. Winners are determined based on the information collected internally by the Lansing Award Program and third parties’ data.
Dr. Heydrich brings to his work and the classroom twenty years of clinical and advanced academic knowledge; real-world clinical experiences from working with clients as a CPS worker, foster care worker, adoption specialist, juvenile justice specialist, and an individual, couple and family therapist; and brings his experience as a published academic researcher and methodologist through his Ph.D. at the University of Michigan.
