I am currently enrolled in the Business Administration online doctoral program, specializing in Human Resources. As a proud Baker College alumna, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and a master’s degree in Human Resource Management. Pursuing higher education has been instrumental in helping me achieve my career aspirations, allowing me to make a difference by helping others.
Currently, I serve as a recruiter for MyMichigan Health, where I find it incredibly rewarding to connect talented individuals with meaningful employment opportunities. As a first-generation college graduate, I am passionate about sharing my educational journey to inspire others to pursue their dreams. To current Baker students: No matter how difficult your goals may seem, there is always something you can do to succeed. Remember, “Nothing is impossible.”
Black History Month is a time to honor the achievements and sacrifices of Black leaders, while celebrating the traditions, history, and culture that have contributed so much to our society. These leaders have been instrumental in shaping a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion—a legacy that inspires me to continue making a positive impact.
In addition to my professional work, I am deeply involved in my community. I volunteer with Living Faith Family Church, serving in the media ministry and participating in the King’s Daughters women’s ministry group. Giving back to my community is a true passion, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.
