After teenagers vandalized two homes built by Habitat for Humanity, the local community came together to offer support.
The homes were being temporarily stored on the property of Baker College of Clinton Township while awaiting basements to be completed when teenagers ripped holes in walls, ceilings and broke windows causing $25,000 worth of damage.
Baker College immediately reached out to Habitat for Humanity with a donation to help cover damages. Then, companies and community members from Hazel Park to Bloomfield Hills reached out to donate time, talent and funds to repair the damage.
