Baker College of Auburn Hills PTA Students at OU
Baker College of Auburn Hills Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) students recently collaborated with first-year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students from Oakland University in the OU Neuroanatomy Lab.
Students shared information regarding neuroanatomy structures and their relevance to neurological conditions. The partnership was a great way for students from both institutions to start developing communication across professions as physical therapy assistants and doctors of physical therapy work closely together in the workplace, often sharing patients.
Baker College PTA and Oakland University DPT students also met in the spring of 2018 to work with individuals who have neurological impairments during a physical therapy workshop.
