The Baker College of Jackson Student Nurses Association (SNA) hosted a Trunk or Treat event for the public at the Baker College Welcome Center on Saturday, October 23.
Students hosted the event to promote the BC nursing program, to provide basic health screening and information to attendees including blood pressure checks, pulse ox checks, and temperature checks, and to spread some Halloween cheer.
Approximately 150 attendees visited 10 trunks, including one co-hosted by Campus Security and the Academic Resource Center and a fire truck provided by the Parma Fire Department. Other trunks were hosted by nursing students or faculty. Baker College offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in Nursing, with on-campus and online courses. More information is available on the BC School of Nursing Program Page.
