Baker College Jackson Student First to Win Annual Jack Bunce Memorial Scholarship

Sarah Glover is a student at Baker College of Jackson
Baker College of Jackson is pleased to announce that Sarah Glover will be the first recipient of the Jack Bunce Memorial Scholarship. Sarah is currently in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at the Jackson campus and will receive the $1500 award to help cover expenses in the Spring 2019 semester.
Jack Bunce was the President of Jackson Business Institute prior to the organization becoming Baker College of Jackson. Once the organization became Baker College, he was a Board of Regents member for the campus for over 20 years. He was described as a man with unwavering integrity and someone that treasured his family and friends.
The Jack Bunce Memorial Scholarship has been set up to honor Mr. Bunce and the many contributions he made to Baker College of Jackson and the Jackson community.
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, a Jackson campus student must be at least at a sophomore status with an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Applicants are required to submit an essay and a letter of recommendation from their employer or an instructor.
