Baker College, Michigan’s largest, private nonprofit college and top private transfer school in the state, is proud to announce that Chief Operating Officer, Jacqui Spicer, has been named a Crain’s 2021 Notable Nonprofit Board Member for her work as chair for the McLaren Oakland Foundation.
Spicer has played a critical role in ensuring the foundation at McLaren Oakland Hospital is successful in enhancing patient care, health care research, providing health-related education and purchasing clinical equipment and building facilities.
She also played a valuable role in collaborating with McLaren Oakland President, Margaret Dimond, to find new ways to maintain programs and support essential workers during the coronavirus pandemic.
Jacqui Spicer “is an inspirational leader, who not only gives time and talent to our organization but understands community need as well. Her business and educational experience augments our mission at McLaren Oakland,” said Dimond.
Spicer also serves as a member of the Lighthouse of Oakland County board.
