At Baker we review each transfer student’s circumstances individually, and the requirements will depend on your program of interest. In most cases, a GPA of 2.0 or higher is required for admission, especially for graduates of Michigan community colleges.

Yes! Transfer students are welcome and encouraged to apply for professional healthcare programs at Baker College, such as Nursing (including an Accelerated option), Surgical Technology, Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), and Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA). In addition to meeting the institution’s admission requirements, students must also fulfill the specific program admission criteria and complete a supplemental program form. Please contact an enrollment specialist for more information regarding program availability and requirements.
