What is an Articulation Agreement?

An articulation agreement is a formal partnership between Baker College and another institution that defines how specific courses or degree programs transfer. These agreements help ensure your credits apply directly toward your chosen major, saving you time and money.

Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA)

As a participant in the statewide Michigan Transfer Agreement, Baker College accepts general education credits from all participating Michigan community colleges. If your associate’s degree includes the MTA, your qualifying general education coursework will satisfy many of our core requirements, making for a seamless transfer.

  • Completing the MTA helps satisfy general education credits.
  • Transfers eligible from all participating Michigan community colleges.
  • Reduces repeated coursework and shorten the time to completing a degree.
