Embark on a new career - and improve a few lives in the process.

The field of orthotics and prosthetics is among the peak of modern medical technologies, and is a vital and needed part in the lives of many patients. Orthopedic braces, artificial limbs, and more have become increasingly important for an ever-growing number of patients, and many of them simply couldn’t imagine life without them.

Maybe you want to help these patients live a full and active life. Our orthotic/prosthetic technology program will teach you the analytical and technical skills you need to create orthopedic braces and artificial limbs. You’ll gain an understanding of design principles and fabrication techniques in hands-on lab settings using the newest equipment available to make sure your skills are up-to-date once you take your registry exam and begin your new career.

Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for the national exams to become a Certified Technician Orthotics (CTO), Certified Technician Prosthetics (CTP), or Certified Technician Prosthetics/Orthotics (CTPO).

This program is part of the Baker College Smart Degree Option.

This is a limited enrollment program.
