We specialize in meeting the needs of every individual service member, starting with a free military evaluation of credit transfers and work experience. It’s quick and it’s honest.
At Baker Online, service members return from deployment exactly where they left off. We hold your place while you serve, allowing you to return to your classwork without penalties or additional fees.

- How big are online classes?
Our online classes are smaller than on-ground classes, and typically have 12-15 students.
- How do online classes work?
After you enroll, and are accepted to your online program, you sign-up, or "register" for your first courses. Like all Baker Online students, you will begin your online experience with a three-week online class designed to orient you to the Baker Online classroom, and review the expectations and requirements of Baker Online students. When you have completed this course successfully, you can move on to additional online courses.
- Can I take classes without a high school diploma or GED?
If you haven't earned a diploma or a GED certificate, you may be able to take classes at Baker College. We will ask you to take placement tests to ensure you have the foundation of knowledge you need to successully complete college-level studies. Please contact the Admissions Office to learn more about our placement testing and admissions policy.
Note: This does not apply to online students; for Baker Online, a diploma or GED certificate is required.
- Do I have to take the SAT or the ACT test to be admitted to Baker College?
As a “right-to-try,” or “open opportunity,” institution, Baker College does not require either ACT or SAT tests as a condition of admission. However, if you do take one or both tests, we encourage you to have the test results sent to Baker College. Talk to the admissions advisor on your campus to learn more about our undergraduate admissions policy.
Military Friendly…to me means just one thing; at the end of the day, we're serving the student.
