Leadership Degree Curriculum

The Bachelor of Business Administration in Leadership program is a four-year program consisting of 120 credit hours. The leadership degree includes 30 hours of general education credits, 27 hours of leadership major credits, 33 hours of business administration credits, and 30 hours of electives. This leadership degree aims to equip students with essential skills and knowledge to become effective leaders in various organizational settings. Leadership courses emphasize the importance of self-awareness, teamwork, critical thinking, decision-making, modern leadership theories, and organizational strategies to create transformative leaders who can significantly impact their organizations and the world.

In this course, students will explore the essential principles of leadership with a focus on developing self-management skills crucial for effective leadership. Through reflective exercises, case studies, and practical applications, students will learn how to cultivate personal strengths, align their values with leadership actions, and enhance their ability to lead with integrity and influence.

Stages of Organizational Leadership

Description
This in-depth course explores the critical role of psychological safety in fostering inclusive, innovative, and high-performing organizational environments. It provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the concepts and principles of psychological safety and its impact on team dynamics and organizational success. Through a combination of theoretical frameworks and practical applications, participants will learn to create and sustain psychologically safe workplaces.

Systems Thinking and Decision-making

Description
This course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate and manage complex organizational systems. This course emphasizes the importance of understanding interdependencies, feedback loops, and emergent behavior patterns to make informed and effective decisions. Through a combination of theoretical insights and practical applications, participants will learn to apply systems thinking tools and develop holistic solutions for organizational challenges.

Diverse Leadership

Description
In today’s dynamic and interconnected world, effective leadership requires civic knowledge and cultural competencies. “Diverse Leadership” is a comprehensive course designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead diverse teams and create inclusive organizational cultures.
