Royal Oak, MI – Baker College enhances its guest student experience with an easy-to-navigate course search and a streamlined enrollment process to better serve individuals seeking flexible, high-quality education. Whether you’re a current college student looking to catch up on credits, an ambitious high school student getting a Running Start, an adult learner interested in upskilling, or someone exploring new fields, Baker’s updated and streamlined process provides a pathway to personal and professional growth.
“Education should meet people where they are,” said Dan Summers, Vice President for Enrollment Management Services. “Our goal is to make it easier for anyone—whether they’re exploring new interests, advancing their career, or catching up on credits—to access high-quality learning. Guest students bring energy and purpose to our classrooms, and we’re proud to support their journeys.”
Flexible learning formats allow guest students to choose from dozens of credit-bearing courses across disciplines such as healthcare, technology, business, math, and sciences. Students can select 100% online courses, ideal for working professionals and remote learners; on-campus courses for those who prefer in-person instruction at one of the campus locations across Michigan, or Online Live (Hybrid) courses that offer the perfect blend of convenience and connection.
Guest students may include current Michigan college students who can use the Michigan Uniform Guest Application to take transferable courses during summer or between semesters. Out-of-state students are also welcome and can take advantage of flexible delivery and transfer options to supplement their education. Additionally, non-degree-seeking adults may enroll to pursue personal enrichment, grow professionally, or explore a new career path.
“Whether you’re trying to advance in your career, fulfill prerequisites, or explore a new interest, we’ve designed this process to be simple and supportive,” said Amanda Keeton, Director of Admissions for Online and Graduate Programs. “The application process is fast and user-friendly—most students can complete their application in a few minutes, plus it’s free to apply.”
Baker College supports hundreds of guest students each year, many of whom return for additional courses after a positive experience. Popular courses include Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition, Pathophysiology, Introduction to Information Security, College Algebra, Psychology, and other in-demand courses.
