Baker College will accept up to 90 credits earned at any regionally-accredited college or university toward a bachelor’s degree and up to 45 toward an associate degree. The exact number of credits accepted may vary depending on your specific transfer circumstances.
Experiential credit is available for students who have proven skills gained through employment, volunteer, community service, professional organizations, training, or military experiences that directly correlate to the skills taught through traditional Baker College courses. Not all courses are eligible for experiential credit.
Baker College has an accessible admissions process. Transfer students who have earned a high school diploma (or its equivalent) and have completed credit in math or English from another institution are accepted. We do not require the ACT or SAT as a condition of admission.
Yes! Transfer students seeking to enter a limited enrollment program at Baker College are subject to program-specific competitive admission criteria and must complete an online limited enrollment application. Please contact an enrollment specialist for additional information regarding limited enrollment programs.

Yes! Baker College conducts one on-ground session and two online sessions during the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Our goal is for you to finish your degree without needing to retake the courses you’ve already completed. Additionally, our Bridge to Bachelor’s program allows eligible transfer students with an associate’s degree (or equivalent 60 credits) from any regionally-accredited institution to complete a bachelor’s degree in no more than 60 additional credit hours.

Your Baker College enrollment specialist will work with you to ensure you receive any federal student aid for which you qualify. Be sure to update your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form to include Baker College (school code: 004673).
We recommend that you submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form as soon as possible after October 1. Your FAFSA® must be submitted no later than June 30, 2021, to be considered for federal student aid for the 2020-2021 award year.
