Baker College will accept up to 90 credits earned at any regionally-accredited college or university toward a bachelor’s degree and up to 45 toward an associate degree. The exact number of transfer credits accepted may vary depending on your specific transfer circumstances.
Yes! We award college credit for military training and service, based on ACE (American Council on Education) guidelines. You may also earn experiential credit for relevant work, volunteer, or training experience that aligns with the learning outcomes of our courses. Transfer students are reviewed individually. In most cases, a GPA of 2.0 or higher is required for admission, especially for graduates of Michigan community colleges. Additional requirements may apply based on your program of interest.
Yes! Transfer students are welcome and encouraged to apply for professional healthcare programs at Baker College, such as Nursing (including an Accelerated option), Surgical Technology, Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), and Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA). In addition to meeting the institution’s admission requirements, students must also fulfill the specific program admission criteria and complete a supplemental program form.
