Owosso, MI — Baker College partners with the Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce to host a series of career readiness events designed to connect students, alumni, and community members with regional employers. These initiatives reflect Baker College’s ongoing growth strategy to strengthen community partnerships, expand workforce pathways, and prepare students for long-term success.
Tuesday, September 30, 2025, Baker College will host the Career Fair Essentials Workshop from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the Health Science Building, Room 2125, on the Owosso Campus, 1020 S. Washington St., Owosso, MI 48867. This event for Baker Students and Alumni will feature employer partners who will provide insider tips on how to stand out in the hiring process, share career opportunities, and offer first-hand insights into what they seek in candidates.
The following week, the Owosso Career Fair will take place Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the Owosso Campus Student/Fitness Center. The first hour of the event (11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.) is reserved exclusively for Baker College students and alumni, after which the fair will open to the general public. Attendees will have the chance to network with employers from across the region and explore potential career opportunities, and can register here.
