Earning an endorsement in secondary math education is as easy as 1,2,3.

As math becomes an increasingly important part of our lives, the demand for math teachers is on the rise. If you’re a certified secondary education teacher in Michigan, having an EX endorsement on your teaching certificate can create more opportunities in your career.

With an EX endorsement, you’ll be able to teach a wide variety of math classes, such as algebra, pre-algebra, calculus, geometry, and statistics, to students in grades 6-12. But before you can get that endorsement, you’ll need to pass a test required by the state of Michigan.

Our post-baccalaureate secondary mathematics education program is designed to help you prepare for that test as quickly as possible. With a combination of proven educational approaches and modern instructional technology, you’ll learn what you need so that you can get out there and start teaching something you’re passionate about.

After you’ve completed the program and passed the test, you’ll be ready to apply for your EX endorsement.

The curriculum at Baker absolutely helped me. I had great instructors, instructors who were educators. Just for teachers to connect with students, it was important to me for those instructors to connect with me.
