- Learn welding joint construction, inspection, and testing of welds while preparing for a career as a welder/fabricator, welding inspector, structural ironworker, or metal art sculptor.
- Get hands-on instruction from experienced American Welding Society (AWS)-certified professionals in small classes that allow you the attention you deserve.
Why study welding?
Students successfully completing this program will have acquired the knowledge and skills necessary for employment in the welding industry. Skills and knowledge presented in the program include oxy-acetylene welding, cutting and brazing, shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW/MIG), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW/TIG), and flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), along with destructive weld testing methods. The curriculum is designed to meet or exceed the requirements set forth by the American Welding Society (AWS).

Students in this program will be required to take ASE tests T3 and T7.
