Who We Are

At the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE), we are committed to supporting and promoting effective teaching and learning across the Baker College community. We endeavor to create inclusive environments that value all perspectives, experiences, and contributions, where instructors and learners can engage and learn through open, multi-sided dialogue. We encourage and practice evidence-based equity strategies, recognize the assets and backgrounds that all learners bring to the classroom, and embrace humility to continuously learn about the cultures, histories, stories, and identities of those with whom we engage.
