How To Prepare for an Advising Session
Success Coaches provide proactive, personalized, and holistic support to help students navigate their academic journey, overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and stay on track toward graduation. Coaching sessions are available both in person and virtually.
To get the most out of your Success Coaching session:
- Come prepared to discuss your questions, goals, successes, and any challenges you’re experiencing.
- Review your degree progress and become familiar with important requirements, deadlines, and upcoming milestones.
- Reflect on your strengths, interests, values, and personal, academic, and career goals.
- Be open to exploring strategies, resources, and opportunities that will support your success.
- Look for ways to get involved, build meaningful connections, and strengthen your sense of belonging within the Baker College community.
