For many undergraduates, an associate degree is the end of their academic journey—often, not by choice. In fact, only 15 percent of community college students earn a bachelor’s degree within six years1. Why? Some of the most common reasons students cite for not continuing their education include complicated transfer admission policies, being required to complete redundant coursework and a lack of available financial aid opportunities.
At Baker College, we understand these challenges and are committed to providing students with convenient options that will allow them to keep their education, and their career, moving forward. Our Bridge to Bachelor’s program opens the door for students with an associate degree (or an equivalent 60 credits) to earn a bachelor’s degree with the completion of just 60 additional credit hours.
