Royal Oak, MI– Baker College announces its continued partnership as a sponsor for Winter Blast Royal Oak, a community event presented by Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort. Scheduled to take place from February 2nd to February 4th, 2024, in the heart of Downtown Royal Oak’s City Center, this free admission festival promises a weekend of family-friendly fun and excitement.
Last year’s Winter Blast Royal Oak, held in 2023, drew an impressive crowd of approximately 80,000 people throughout the weekend, and Baker College is proud to once again present the Zip Line Ride. Thrill-seekers are invited to soar through the air and fly over the festival grounds on the longest, fastest mobile zip line available. This exhilarating experience located on 3rd Street just east of Troy allows two people to zip simultaneously on two lines, suspended 34 feet in the air—the length of a football field.

There are a diverse range of activities for attendees of all ages, including live music, free ice skating, captivating ice sculptures, Medieval Village, a thrilling zip line experience, food trucks, a kids adventure zone, and much more. Baker’s commitment to community and student engagement extends to our sponsorship with the Winter Blast, where participants can learn about our esports team and have some competitive fun, plus gain insights into our programs and admissions. Additionally, we are proud to highlight our partnership with Gift of Life Michigan, further emphasizing our dedication to community welfare and education.
